Christ My Faithful Companion, Jacqueline Lebrón

I received the Lord when I was twelve years old; at that moment a new life entered into me. This life is the divine, uncreated and eternal life of God. What happened in my being was not clear to me, but I felt like I was the happiest person in the universe because I knew that Christ lived in me. Since then I have attended the meetings of the local church in Guayama, and little by little the Lord by the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee is revealing to me His economy, His purpose for man (Ephesians 1:9-10).

During my high school years, Christ guarded me from many negative things, situations, people, and problems. During those years I experienced Christ as a loving Father: He cared for, guided, and disciplined me with tenderness. Also, I experienced Him as my best and only friend who was and is always available to listen to me. He is faithful and He will never abandon me (Hebrews 2:17, 13:5).

To me, Christ is a real and living Person who dwells in me. I enjoy Him living inside of me, and I am sure that He will never leave nor forsake me. I come to Him in the difficult situations; He is my comfort, He is my Counselor, and He fills me with His sweet peace (2 Corinthians 1:3; Isaiah 9:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:23). I love this wonderful Christ who gave up His life for me (John 3:14-15). Now I want to pour out upon Him all my life, what I am, and everything I have.
